When Will the Hudson Valley See Its First Major Snowstorm?
Should the Hudson Valley brace itself for a major snowstorm in the near future?
According to Hudson Valley Weather there are no major storms systems or arctic cold outbreaks in the forecast for the next five to 10 days.
“For the next 1 to 2 weeks… we expect this to continue being the pattern,” Hudson Valley Weather wrote on Facebook. “So don’t expect any prolonged cold outbreaks, or chances for significant snow as we push into the beginning of December.”
Depending on your opinion of snow, that’s good news or bad news. Now, if the thought of no snow brings a frown to your face, well, turn that frown upside down.
Once the calendar passes the first week of December, the Hudson Valley should see major changes in the weather as the forecast currently shows signs of winter weather patterns, Hudson Valley Weather reports.
“If this pattern plays out… we’ll really see winter invade the Hudson Valley... with much below average temperatures, and much better chances of snow, as well as the chance for coastal storm development,” Hudson Valley Weather said.
The company points out that the forecast is over 10 days away, meaning the forecast could change.
