
Wanted Hudson Valley Man Arrested For 2016 Stabbing
A local man accused of stabbing another man multiple times in Oct. 2016, was found and arrested.
On Oct., 7 2016, Kingston police received a call about a stabbing on North Front Street in the City of Kingston. Responding officers found a 47-year-old man stabbed multiple times in the back.
Detectives quickly identified 35-year-old Mark E. Lancaster of Middletown as the suspect. However, for many months Lancaster evaded police. An arrest warrant for assault was issued for Lancaster by Kingston City Court.
Recently, detectives received a tip that Lancaster was in Orange County. City of Middletown police found the 35-year-old and placed him into custody. Lancaster is being held at the Kingston Police Department, pending arraignment.
