Two Orange County Men Found With Large Amount Of Cocaine, Police Say
Two Orange County men are in jail without bail after they were accused of driving with a large amount of cocaine.
On Monday New York State Police from Monroe stopped a 2012 BMW X-3 for a vehicle and traffic violation on State Route 17, in the Village of Goshen.
During a probable cause search of the vehicle, troopers allegedly determined that 43-year-old Brive Crosske and 31-year-old Jordan Allen, both of Middletown, were in possession of 309 grams of cocaine.
When Crosske exited the vehicle, he physically engaged troopers and fled on foot, police say. Following a short foot chase, he was handcuffed in a parking lot located in the area of Matthew Street in the Village of Goshen.
Both were charged first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal tampering with evidence, all felonies and the misdemeanor offense of resisting arrest.
Both were arraigned before the Village of Goshen Justice Rory Brady and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail.
