The photo of Red Hook police briefly catching an owl has gone viral after many women complimented the officer's looks. The officer in the photo, Travis Sterritt, recently spoke about the experience.

If you missed the story, on Saturday, two Red Hook police officers ran into an unexpected visitor during their night patrol.

Officer James Simmons and Officer Sterritt found an owl sitting in the middle of Route 9G near Bard College. Before wildlife could arrive, the owl flew back into the trees, but not before Simmons and Sterritt could snap the now viral photo.

Tuesday morning Officer Sterritt phoned into the "CJ In The Morning Show" on 94.3 97.3 The Wolf to discuss his rare encounter with the Owl. Sterritt talked how he caught the bird, the photo going viral, and how many females (including CJ's co-host) are now calling the officer attractive. Take a listen.
