Lower Hudson Valley Teen Missing for Month Found Dead in Lake
A lower Hudson Valley teen who worked at a legendary pizzeria was found dead in a lake over a month after he was reported missing.
Last week, New York State Police and the Village of Suffern Police Department asked for the public's help in finding 18-year-old Wilson Atz. The Suffern teen was last seen on Dec. 20, walking east on State Route 202 at 3:12 a.m. in the village of Suffern.
On Sunday, over 80 volunteers helped New York State Police and the Village of Suffern Police Department search for the teen. He was found dead in the water at the foot of Lake Antrim in Suffern, police say.
Atz worked at Kinchely's Tavern in Ramsey, New Jersey. Many Hudson Valley residents believe Kinchely's makes the best pizza in or near the region. The eatery is known for its award-winning ultra-thin crust pizza. According to its website, it was voted "New Jersey's #1 Thin Crust Pizza."
