Borscht Belt Museum's Newest Pop Up Opens To Positive Reviews

A popular Hudson Valley museum has been bringing residents and visitors together under one roof. Guests can visit this location to see different pop up exhibits, attend local events and learn about the history of the Borscht Belt region.

The Borscht Belt Region was a place for people to escape to and spend time with their friends and family.

Those who visited were able to experience summer outside of New York City and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley, fresh air and a community that they love.

The Borscht Belt Museum is located in Ellenville, NY. Their pop up exhibits change and highlight different memories of the Borscht Belt era.

I've been to this Ulster County, NY museum and enjoyed learning about the Borscht Belt era community, seeing the jewelry and clothes that were worn by members of this region.

What's New At The Borscht Belt Museum In Ellenville, NY?

Recently, the Borscht Belt Fest happened in July 2024 in Ellenville, NY. This two day event featured entertainment, fun, food and more.

The Borscht Belt Museum has also added comedy shows in 2024. The Borscht Belt Museum has been "Bringing stand-up back to the Catskills!" with New York Comedy Club. Additional comedy shows with these two organizations have continued to bring entertainment to the Hudson Valley.

There will be interactive activities, workshops, lectures, film series and more available at the Borscht Belt Museum. The Borscht Belt Museum will officially open in 2025.

Borscht Belt Museum's Pop Up Experience Features A New Exhibit

The Borscht Belt Museum made an announcement that they now have a new, pop up exhibit. Guests can explore "And Such Small Portions" in Ellenville, NY.

They shared,

"The Borscht Belt Museum’s new exhibition, “And Such Small Portions!” Food and Comedy in the Catskills Resort Era, celebrates the vibrant history, cherished rituals and irresistible humor of food and comedy in the Catskills Resort era."

The Borscht Belt Museum continued to share that this new exhibit highlights humor and food that took place in the Borscht Belt kitchens, dining rooms, events and more.

Guests can visit this Ulster County, NY museum Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm-5pm in Ellenville, NY. Admission is $15 for adults and only $5 for Ellenville and Wawarsing residents. Admission is free for ages 18 and under.
