It all started at approximately 10 a.m. Monday when police said a woman had jumped from the bridge and as they responded to the scene and began to investigate it was determined that 52-year-old Dawn Stackhouse from Beekman, New York had jumped from the span according to a press release. Police didn't provide any other details as it is still an ongoing investigation but did say that a couple of good Samaritans who were fishing near the bridge discovered Stackhouse and removed her from the water and quickly began to administer life-saving measures.
