Looks like another television show or movie is filming in Dutchess County.

Road Closures Announced in Beacon Earlier This Week

Any Hudson Valley resident will tell you, traffic around the region has been on the incline over the last few years. It feels like there's new construction on main roads every single day, causing cringe worthy backups.

So it's always nice when drivers have a bit of a heads up of road closures before they begin their commute.

Earlier this week, the City of Beacon took to social media to alert the public of some traffic delays in the future. They shared that portions of Main Street as well as Churchill Street will require "intermittent traffic holds" on October 15th, 18th and 23rd.

Construction wasn't the root of this traffic hold, this time filming of a new Netflix show was to blame.

What's Filming on Main Street in Beacon, New York?

If you've been paying attention, then you have heard the news that a new Netflix show was planning on filming in the area.

A September casting call was looking for extras and background actors to play college students for a project called Four Seasons. The casting call went on to explain that filming would begin in mid-October.  Tina Fey and Steve Carell are listed as 2 of the stars of the series.

Well, it's mid-October and it looks like filming is right on schedule. Beacon New York residents were treated to a look behind the scenes as Four Seasons filmed on Main Street earlier this week.

Beacon resident Mike Vahsen shared the photo below on social media with the caption " Walked downstairs to a film shoot outside my door. Something with Tina Fey. What a strange way to start the day."

We asked Vahsen if he saw or heard anything noteworthy while Hollywood was in town, he tells us:

I saw a bunch of large busses, trucks, and vans taking up the already limited parking spots and it pissed me off.

Tina Fey, Steve Carell Dine at Popular Diner in Dutchess County

Before filming began, 2 of the stars were getting acquainted with their surroundings.

The week of October 8th, 2024, the Yankee Clipper Diner shared that Tina Fey had stopped by to enjoy a meal on social media and then days later, Steve Carell was spotted dining there as well.

Fey must have given Carell a stellar Yankee Clipper review. It looks as though the comedic duo stopped by once again, this time during filming. The Yankee Clipper shared the following story on their Instagram account:
