As I get older, the holidays aren't about receiving presents. As an adult, whenever I want or need something, I take care of it. It's not like the magic of opening up a surprise left under the tree when you are a child. No, the way I see it now, the way I want to best celebrate the holidays is by taking advantage of experiences. I don't need physical things to make me happy. I want to be surrounded by people that I care about while making memories, whether that might be going to see lights displays, going to a holiday concert, having a special meal, attending a party, going on a tour, or whatever else we can come up with.

For instance, just this weekend alone, I got to explore Saratoga with my girlfriend and enjoy the sights and shops up there.
