New York State Police have arrested a 19-year-old Hudson Valley woman on 7 counts relating to stealing from her employer.

New York State Police at Catskill received a complaint from a local business in the Village of Coxsackie that allegedly, Lydie Purdy, was creating false transactions and stealing property from the business. The 19-year-old Coxsackie woman was located and arrested by state police.

Purdy was charged with 3 counts of falsifying business records, a class E felony, three counts of petit larceny and one count of 5th- degree criminal possession of stolen property, all class A misdemeanors.

Purdy was processed at the State Police Barracks at Catskill given an appearance ticket and released. She is due in Town of Coxsackie Court on February 1st.
