Hudson Valley Motel Home to At Least 4 Sex Offenders
After a dangerous sex offender’s recent move, one local motel is now the home of at least four sex offenders, three who have a high risk of a repeat offense.
Town of Lloyd Police announced that John H. Parker recently moved to a motel located on Route 299 in Highland. In 2013, the now 59-year-old was convicted for promoting a sexual performance of a child.
After some research, Hudson Valley Post learned that Parker is now living at a motel that is also the home of at least three other sex offenders.
Patrick Wood, 28; 44-year-old Tara Porter; and 26-year-old Vincent Biscoglio are all staying in different rooms at the same Highland motel, according to the New York State sex offender database.
Parker, Wood and Biscoglio are all Level 3 sex offenders. Level 3 sex offenders are considered to have the highest risk of a repeat offense and are a threat to the public. Porter is a level 2 sex offender.
In January, 51-year-old Robert Scott, another Lever 3 sex offender, moved the motel on Route 299 in Highland. He’s currently at the Ulster County jail.
This spring, local scientists plan to release Samurai Wasps into the Hudson Valley to kill stink bugs. One local scientists tells us why this is a good idea.
