Elderly Hudson Valley Woman Killed in Car Crash
An elderly Hudson Valley woman died following a car crash.
New York State Police in Monroe are investigating a one-car fatal motor vehicle accident that happened on Saturday around 11:30 p.m., on South Gate Road in the Town of Tuxedo.
According to police, 79-year-old Ingrid A. Warren of Tuxedo Park was driving south on South Gate Road in a Lexus RX350 when her vehicle exited the roadway and struck multiple trees. It's unclear at this time why her car left the road.
Warren was extricated from the vehicle by Town of Tuxedo Fire Department personnel and airlifted to Westchester Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, police say.
