Car Suddenly Catches Fire While Driving in Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley woman's car suddenly burst into flames while driving.
On Tuesday around 9 p.m., the driver smelled smoke while making a turn from Route 208 on to Clove Road in South Blooming Grove.
Her Toyota Camry then stalled and she suddenly saw flames exploding from the Camry's hood.
The driver, who didn't want to be identified, told Mark Lieb of Rockland Video she got out of her just in the nick of time and wasn't hurt. She was the only person in her car at the time of the fire.
Local firefighters rushed to the scene and put the fire out in about 15 minutes.
It's unclear what caused the car fire.
