8 Residents were charged with selling heroin, cocaine, and highly-addictive prescription drugs in the Hudson Valley.

According to the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, the defendants, who range in age from 17-32, are accused of selling oxycodone, Xanax, and Ecstasy to undercover police officers in numerous street-level drug deals in Clarkstown, Orangetown, and Suffern over the past month.

Charged in the 24-count indictment were Jonathan Shaw and Matthew McGuirk, both 27-year-old from Pearl River, 27-year-old Anthony Gonzalez, of Spring Valley, MaryLou Lois, 26, of Nanuet, 17-year-old Zachary Rosenthal, from Congers, Edward Divone, 32, of Pearl River, 22-year-old Heather Kowalski, from Suffern, and Jonathan Jaron, 28, of Ridgefield, NJ.

According to the charges, a search warrant seized over than 450 Xanax pills, over 40 grams of cocaine and marijuana at 29 Forest Avenue, Apartment 2, in Pearl River, the residence of Jonathan Shaw and Matthew McGuirk

During an arrest warrant for Anthony Gonzalez at 35 Deerwood Drive in New City, detectives found over 40 bags of heroin labeled “Vampire” and “Relapse.”

During a traffic stop in West Nyack, MaryLou Louis was found to be in possession of over 45 bags of heroin marked “Transformers.”

The individuals are charged with various counts of criminal sale or possession of a controlled substance. They face sentences ranging up to 25 years in prison
