Two Hudson Valley Women Found in Hotel Room With Baby, OD Victim
Two Hudson Valley women are now in jail after Town of Lloyd Police found the pair in a local hotel room with two children and a person who allegedly was suffering from a heroin overdose.
Officers from the Town of Lloyd Police Department arrested Julia A. Gary, 55, from Poughkeepsie and her daughter Kimberly E. Gary, 23, from Highland back on December 28th and charged the mother and daughter with endangering the welfare of a child.
Lloyd Police Department Lieutenant, James S. Janso told us here at 94.3/97.3 The Wolf that, "The Garys were found in a hotel room with a 24 year old heroin overdose victim."
Janso also stated that there were two children inside the hotel room. One child was 3 weeks old and the other was 8 years old.
Child Protective Services were notified of the charges and the 3 week old infant was turned over to CPS and the 8-year-old was turned over to a responsible family member.
As of now, both the mother and daughter were sent to the Ulster County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $3,000 insurance bond.
