
Popular Hudson Valley Festival Returns For Its 28th Year
We can experience festivals and events year round within the Hudson Valley area.
From music festivals to local celebrations, county fairs and events relating to food, there’s something for everyone! Each October, we look forward to an event that takes place in Ulster County.
When Will This Hudson Valley Pickle Festival Take Place In 2025?
The 28th Annual Rosendale International Pickle Festival will return this year. This popular event will take place in New Paltz, NY at the Ulster County Fairgrounds. You can attend this festival on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 10am until 5pm.
The admission is $5 per person and children under the age of 12 get in for free. When purchasing tickets, be sure to bring cash since the ticket booth accepts cash only.
Each year, Hudson Valley festivals get excited for this beloved festival. It takes place each year and is usually on the third Sunday of October.

What Can Attendees Expect To See At The Rosendale International Pickle Festival?
The Rosendale International Pickle Festival shared that they have over 100 vendors on site. There’s a wide variety of local vendors who sell baked goods, groceries, crafts, pickles and more.
I love seeing the festivities from The Rosendale International Pickle Festival including a Pickle Triathlon with a pickle toss, eating contest and more.
Thousands of people attend this event each year and the proceeds then go towards the Rosendale community! Personally, I would like to try some pickle flavored cream cheese and homemade, dill chips, mmmm!
What Can We Do In The Ulster County, NY After This Popular Festival?
In addition to this fan favorite, pickle festival, festival attendees can explore the area. Since this event takes place in New Paltz, NY, I have a few suggestions of fun things to explore.
There are several walking, hiking trails nearby to experience. All along Main Street, there are local owned eateries and boutiques to shop as well.
In the other direction, festival attendees can visit the Rosendale, NY area too. There’s locally owned eateries there as well including some stores to visit in their Main Street district.
There’s never any time for us to be bored in the Hudson Valley, we have so many great villages, towns to visit.
