Police: Woman Arrested For Using Counterfeit Money at CVS

A Bronx woman has been charged with using counterfeit money in the Town of Ulster. 

Police arrived at the CVS, in the Town of Ulster to investigate, but the woman had already left the store. Police were given a description of the vehicle and made a traffic stop a short time later.

According to Town of Ulster Police, an investigation led to the arrest of Bianca K. Parrales, 18, of the Bronx. She charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.

Police discovered the man man driving the vehicle, 25-year-old Timothy Ransom, also from the Bronx, was driving with a suspended license. He was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Parrales was arraigned and sent to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 bail or $7,500 bond pending further court action. The Ransom was released with a ticket to appear back in court.
