An Ulster County man is behind bars after he was allegedly found with $20,000 worth of cocaine, crack cocaine and more.

On Thursday, the City of Kingston Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the Town of Saugerties Police Department Detective Division wrapped up a drug trafficking investigation.

The investigation led to the arrest of 38-year-old Adrian Dabney of Saugerties and the seizure of eight ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine. The seized drugs have a street value of over $20,000, police say.

Authorities executed a search warrant of Dabeny’s home in Saugerties on Thursday. The warrant allegedly yielded a large amount of cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Dabney was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Dabney is currently being held at the Kingston Police Department pending his arraignment.
