Two Orange County teenagers are facing felony charges after police say they stole a car and crashed it in Dutchess County.

On Monday, New York State Police from Wappinger arrested two 17-year-olds from Wallkill for third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony.

On Monday around 4:30 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a one-car rollover collision that occurred on New Hackensack Road near Route 9 in Wappinger Falls.

An investigation revealed that the overturned Toyota Sequoia was stolen by the two teens from Wallkill, police say.

Both were arraigned at the City of Beacon Court. They were remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. They are due in Town of Wappinger Court on Wednesday.
