An Orange County woman has been arrested and charged with forgery and grand larceny following a police investigation. 

An investigation conducted by New York State Police revealed that  Katrina A. Stoker, 30, of Walkill had forged many checks from January 2016 to July 2016. In addition to the forged checks, Stoker also allegedly made many unauthorized bank withdrawals totaling over $49,000.

Also, according to a press release from the New York State Police, there was thousands of dollars in assorted jewelry stolen from the complainant.

Stoker was arraigned in the Town of Montgomery Court, and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. She is scheduled to be back in court at a later date.
