"As we closed the doors of our business after 56 years yesterday we can't help but be eternally grateful to all of our loyal customers throughout the years, near and far," the Torino Bakery family wrote. "Also, the copious amount of memories that we have had here."

According to the family, Torino Bakery, located at 404 Broadway in Newburgh, was founded 56 years ago by three brothers-in-law who shared a dream. Through what they described as "blood, sweat and tears," they built the bakery from the ground up before passing it on to the next generation.
