Orange County is getting another great spot to pick up their favorite book or a fresh new read. Barnes & Nobel is inching closer and closer to opening their Galleria Crystal Run location in Middletown.

New Bookstore Opens in Greene County

While we're on the topic of new bookstores...

There's a new bookstore that just opened their doors in Greene County. It's called Better Days Bookshop. According to their Facebook page, Better Days Bookshop has "Delightful page-turners for adults and children."

But they also have a "curated selection of delicious beers" and "A porch with a view." Is there anything better than reading a brand new book while sitting on a porch drinking a fresh, crisp adult beverage?

Doesn't sound too shabby to me. Better Days Bookshop writes "Come see us and we guarantee you’ll have a better day!"

Did you know that mystery/thriller novelist James Patterson is from the Hudson Valley? The author was born and raised in Newburgh, New York and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy.
