Where to Catch Live Music This Weekend In The Hudson Valley

Born and raised in NYC listening to my parent’s music from the 50s and 60s. Throughout my life, I’ve been exposed to many genres of music: Motown, 70s rock, 80s hair bands, and many flavors of 80s pop music, and 90s boy bands. After 2000, I have enjoyed alternative rock, heavy metal, and even a bit of country. I do enjoy listening to live music including many of the local bands that play at restaurants, wineries, carnivals, apple orchards, and just about anywhere. I see how much effort that goes into being a cover band especially when you have a day job and a family and other responsibilities. It’s a labor of love for most of the local artists who perform each weekend for very little money. I hope that my weekly list of where these local celebrities are playing will bring a bit of sunshine into everyone's life.
