New Jersey State Police responded to a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 280 West in Essex County near Newark on Tuesday afternoon.
Police believe 51-year-old Nicole A. Greco's Scion was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer around 3:30 p.m. near mile marker 12.6 in West Orange on I-280.
The tractor-trailer hit Greco's car and caused a chain reaction that involved three other westbound vehicles. Greco's Scion then collided into the back of a Toyota which hit the back of a Honda, RLS Media reports.

Greco, 51, of Chester, was killed in the crash, according to New Jersey State Police.
At least one other driver was injured, but those injuries aren't considered life-threatening. The injured driver was later identified as 36-year-old Daniel Clark of Scotch Plains, NJ. He reportedly suffered moderate injuries.
More details about the fatal crash haven't been released as police continue to investigate.
