Ulster County SPCA Looking For Help in Animal Abuse Case

On Sunday December 7th, 2025, the Ulster County SPCA came across an unfortunate scene.

A deceased black cat was found on Ulster Avenue around the area of Ulster Park. Sadly, both front paws of the cat were taped together. The Ulster County SPCA  shared that in most cases they don't share photos of animal cruelty, but this case was different.

They explains that the Ulster County SPCA "Humane Law Enforcement officers need the publics assistance" as they investigate the case.

The Ulster County SPCA writes on social media "This is an active investigation. We will not share specific details of any active investigations while ongoing."

For those who have any information regarding the deceased black cat they are urged to call Humane Law Department at 845-331-5377 extension 212.

Any animal cruelty case observed should be reported to that number as well.
