Blake Shelton at the Times Union Center
Saturday was the kick off, at least for me, for "summer" concert season for me.
Blake Shelton took the stage Saturday night at the Times Union Center in Albany and absolutely crushed it.
I unfortunately was running late, so I missed Lauren Alaina. But I heard great things!
Once Blake hit the stage I think everyone, including myself, was ready to party. Kicking things off with "Neon Light" we knew we were in for a heck of a show and Blake didn't disappoint.
If there's one thing that Blake brings to the table its a ton of personality. At one point during the show he started roasting Rascal Flatts and Luke Bryan. According to Blake, Luke asks the audience to sing because he's too drunk to remember his own lyrics. He also doesn't like his fans...or small children. (He was joking of course.)
All joking aside, Blake knows how to have fun while playing all the hits. You don't realize how big his song catalog is until you see him live.
Blake had a bit of help with some friends like The Bellamy Brothers and John Anderson. Trace Adkins was also there and the back and forth between those two is hilarious.
If you have the chance to see Blake Shelton live, do it.
