An Ulster County teenager was arrested after police say he was found driving a car that had been reported stolen.

Elijah J. Lyons, 19, of Saugerties was charged with 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

According to the Ulster Police Department, a uniformed police officer was on patrol on Glenerie Boulevard when he spotted Lyons driving a 2009 Hyundai Accent. Upon running the vehicle's registration, the car came back stolen out of Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

As a result, Lyons was taken into custody without incident. He was processed and arraigned before in Town of Ulster Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $2,500 bail $5,000 bond. He’s due back in court at a later date.
