Second Hudson Valley Man Indicted in Ambush Shooting Murder
A second Hudson Valley man, the alleged shooter, was indicted in an ambush shooting that killed a man in April.
In Westchester County Court, 21-year-old Aaron George, of White Plains was charged with 2nd-degree murder, two counts of 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts of tampering with physical evidence, all felonies.
On April 17, 2016 in White Plains, Michael Djukic was driving a Chrysler Pacifica with George. According to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, George got out of the car near 91 North Kensico Avenue, approached Dominique Hospie, and allegedly fired a handgun multiple times, hitting Hospie.
George then ran back to the car where Djukic was waiting and the two drove off.
Hospie was taken to Westchester Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the hand and back. He later died in surgery.
George pled not guilty to charges. Bail was set at $500,000 cash or bond. He was remanded to Westchester County Jail and is due in court on June 15.
