Police: Wanted Ulster County Man Tries To Climb Out of Second-Story Window
A wanted Ulster County man is accused of trying to evade police by climbing out of a second-story window.
Recently, the Kingston Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and New York State Division of Parole conducted an investigation into the whereabouts of 30-year-old Jeffery Munoz of Kingston, who wanted for allegedly violating parole.
Investigators learned that Munoz was at an apartment located above a business on Broadway in Kingston. When police tried to make contact with Munoz he attempted to evade officers by climbing out of a second-story window onto a roof. After brief struggle, Munoz was taken into custody, police say.
Munoz was taken to the Kingston Police Department and charged with violation of parole, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. He’s being held at Ulster County Jail without bail.
