Police: Slumped Over Woman Later Caught Ingesting Drugs
Police responded to reports of a Hudson Valley woman passed out in her car at a local gas station. When they arrived, the woman was allegedly caught ingesting drugs.
On Friday around 6:30 p.m., Town of Wallkill police responded to a report of a driver slumped over at the wheel at the Citgo Gas Station on Bloomingburg Road.
Upon arrival, the officer discovered 33-year-old Annemarie Webb of the Town of Wallkill in her car ingesting narcotics, police say.
After Webb was arrested, she was allegedly found to be in possession of 56 packets of heroin, 37 oxycodone pills and a quantity of crack.
Webb was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was admitted to Orange Regional Medical Center due to an illnesses related to the ingestion of drugs, police say.
During a bedside arraignment, Webb was remanded to Orange County Jail on $15,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
