A Hudson Valley man is accused of stealing a number of items from the home of his recent Tinder Match.

Sunday around 1:45 a.m. the South Nyack-Grand View Police Department was called to a residence in South Nyack to investigate a possible burglary. Following an investigation police allege that Kevin Clark, of Highland Falls stole cash, jewelry, and electronics from a woman he met on the social media and dating site Tinder.

Clark was charged with 2 counts of 2nd-degree burglary, 4th-degree grand larceny, 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property, felonies, 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny, misdemeanors.

Following the arrest authorities want to remind all Hudson Valley residents emphasize that social media users should be very cautious about permitting acquaintances into their homes.

Clark was arraigned in South Nyack Justice Court, and remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
