Police: Hudson Valley Man Sets Fire to Local School
A man is facing charges for setting fire to a public school in the Hudson Valley.
On Friday, New York State Police out of the Monroe Barracks arrested 40-year-old Yoel Einhorn from the village of Kiryas Joel for third-degree arson, third-degree burglary, both felonies, and possession of burglar tools, a misdemeanor.

The arrest of Einhorn stemmed from an investigation into a fire during the early morning hours on Thursday at the Kiryas Joel Public School at 1 Dinev Road in the Village of Kiryas Joel.
A motive is unclear at this time. No injuries were reported.
Einhorn was arraigned at the Town of Newburgh Court and released on his own recognizance. Einhorn was scheduled to appear at the Town of Monroe Court for his next court date.
