An employee at a Hudson Valley nursing home removed Oxycontin pills and replaced them with other medication, New York State Police said in a press release.

Goldeen A. Zachary, 34, of Milton was arrested Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment and larceny. New York State Police were dispatched to Avalon Assisted Living in Wappinger in December after reports of prescription medication theft at the facility.
