An ongoing investigation into drug sales in Port Jervis led to one man’s arrest.

On Friday, members of the Port Jervis City Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group, executed a Port Jervis City Court "no knock" search warrant at an apartment on Church Street in Port Jervis.

The warrant yielded crack cocaine, powder cocaine and a large sum of money, police say. Nicholas Reid, 34, who lives at the apartment was home when police arrived. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony. Police allege the Reid was planning to sell the cocaine.

Reid was arraigned in Port Jervis City Court and remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on $10,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
