Our local police officers are always present within the Hudson Valley. They not only  serve the community but also protect us and help keep the roads safe in our area.

Orange County Police Department Breaks Historic Record After 170 Years


The Port Jervis Police Department made a post on social media highlighting exciting news. They included,

HISTORY MADE!

 

For the first time in 172 years, the Port Jervis Police Department has an all-female squad on duty!

 

Tonight, our squad made history with an all-female team, which included our dispatcher!”

Congratulations to this Orange County police department! They also shared,

We hope this milestone inspires future generations, and we proudly celebrate these great women.”

There were over 2,000 likes on this Facebook post along with over 200 comments and at least 130 comments.

On August 5-August 6, 2025, there will be the National Night Out Against Crime at Riverside Park in Port Jervis, NY. There will be free food along with free raffles, a DJ for entertainment and more.
