Orange County NY Holds Informative Active Shooter Drill Training
It is a matter of reality that in the world we live in today, we have to be ready for just about anything. If you were in a place, a home, business, or even a movie theater and an active shooter situation happened, what would you do? What would you need to do?
In Orange County NY the Special Operations Group from the County Sheriff’s Office will be leading a free seminar at the Orange County NY Emergency Services Center. What will be covered in this Orange County NY shooter awareness training and how can you potentially participate in it?
What takes place during active shooter awareness training?
The training session is about one hour in length and will go over general information to help you (and your loved ones or work) prepare ahead of time, so if you are ever in the one of these situations you will be better informed to react and assist. While 100% of every situation will ultimately be different, you'll get exposure to general helpful tools during this training event.

When is the Orange County NY active shooter awareness training?
The training is free to Orange County residents and will be taking place on Tuesday October 24, 2023 at 6:30 PM at the Auditorium of the County’s Emergency Services Center at 22 Wells Farm Road in Goshen.
