The Jolly Onion was a locally owned business in Orange County, NY. This restaurant served the community for many years in the black dirt region of Pine Island, NY.

In September of 2023, The Jolly Onion made a post on social media that they would be closing their doors.

"Dear valued customers, it is with a heavy heart we announce we are permanently closed. This was an extremely difficult decision. We are so grateful to all of our patrons, especially our regulars. We truly will miss you all! If you would like to post a photo or memory from your visit with us we would love to see and hear them!"

Pasta D'oro is a popular restaurant located in Wurtsboro, NY. They are known for serving delicious Italian cuisine and bringing old world style options into a modern setting.

We will be bringing our unique dining experience with around the world flavors and keeping some of the home town classics . We are very excited to meet everyone and and build , everlasting relationships, fond memories, and great times . Cheers "

As former Jolly Onions fans and Pasta D'oro lovers come together on social media, they await the exciting opening of Pasta D'oro in the former Jolly Onion location in Pine Island, NY.

When Will Pasta D'oro Open At Former Jolly Onion Location In The Black Dirt Region?

Personally, I was excited about the news too and reached out to Pasta D'oro about an opening date which was unknown at that time. Thankfully, we now know about the official opening date of Pasta D'oro in the former Jolly Onion location in Pine Island.

Pasta D'oro posted a reel on August 31, 2024 that received over 1,000 likes, had over 800 comments and 400 shares. They mentioned that they would be having the Pasta D'oro at the Jolly Onion grand opening event on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 6pm.

They are also giving away 50 tickets to followers, guests would have to follow all of their pages and tag 3 friends to qualify to win.
