What Is The Unique Circus Floating Down the Hudson River
Everybody loves a great circus, so imagine one you can enjoy that is performed on the water.
Where Can You See the Flotsam Circus
The Flotsam Circus is making its way down the Hudson River this week on its way to New York City. Along the way, they stop at various spots to perform for people on shore.
Their journey began in Buffalo on August 1st, 2025, and progressed through the Erie Canal. The trip from Buffalo to New York City coincides with he 200th Anniversary of the opening of the Erie Canal.
The plan is to do the entire length of the Erie Canal and then down the Hudson River to New York with stops all along the way. They have brought attention to the waterways that link the great state of New York. All the while, they are performing the circus from the floating stage.
