With Thanksgiving being last week, and we are now into December, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on certain aspects of my current situation, and I have much to be thankful for. Since moving back to the area because of the pandemic, I have rediscovered my love for Poughkeepsie, and recognize the wonderful ways that it shaped me.

It’s a beautiful spot, and I can’t think of a better way to spend a fall afternoon. Great views, close friends and family, and great music.

I saw Leon Russell, Little Feat, Southside Johnny, Jimmy Cliff, Chuck Berry, and tons of other great bands at Poughkeepsie Riverfests through the years.
