One of the wonderful things that they shared in their information about the fire was that they were able to the dog on the scene with a pet oxygen mask. The dog was later taken to the vet for further evaluation. The Espous Fire Department like other departments in the Hudson Valley is made up of volunteers and their mission is to provide emergency services to the community and that obviously includes the four-legged kind too.

With the clock change coming up it is time to check your smoke detectors. As they say, working smoke alarms save lives. Heaters will be going on and it is important to have your heating system serviced and running properly.
