Film Production Shuts Down Beacon, NY Roads

The City of Beacon is warning drivers of road closures this week, but it's not for construction.

According to a social media post, there will be a stretch of road closed in Beacon due to film production.

The statement reads:

The City of Beacon will be hosting a film production on Tuesday, October 27th - the morning of Wednesday the 28th. The particular area of impact is along Main Street between Fishkill/Teller Avenues and East Main Street.

In the post, the City of Beacon explains there will be "signage for parking restrictions."

Additionally, the sidewalks will be closed from 4 pm until 5 am on Wednesday morning (10/28/26). There will be City of Beacon Police on site "to assist with rerouting traffic."

Everything will be back to normal by 5 am Wednesday morning.

What's Filming in Beacon?

While the statement from The City of Beacon doesn't detail what production is filming in town, we have our guesses.

The cast of the Netflix series The Four Seasons has been spotted all throughout town. There was even a moment last week where the cast was seen on a carriage ride being  driven by none other than the Headless Horseman.

Take a look:

It also looks like The Four Seasons was filming somewhere withing the Village of Wappingers:

The Four Seasons isn't the only production filming in Dutchess County.

Best Medicine on Fox has been busy filming by the New Hamburg Yacht Club, but they haven't ventured down to Beacon from what we know.

Casting Call For Background Actors in Newburgh and Beacon

You can add this to the list of reasons why we think The Four Seasons is shutting down roads in Beacon...

Central Casting posted a casting call look for locals in the Newburgh and Beacon areas to act as background actors in the latest season of The Four Seasons.

If you've always wanted to get into the acting and entertainment world, this could be your chance!
