Hudson Valley Brewery With Great Reviews Closes Suddenly
Beer drinkers received some bad news this past week. The Hudson Valley is losing a brewery that had some excellent ratings online and local residents don't seem to be handling the news well.
The craft beer craze has taken the country by storm over the last decade or so. Drinking craft beer used to be considered high brow but the specialty beer has become extremely common. It is estimated that there are nearly 10,000 craft breweries that have been operating since 2017. It's a booming industry and it only seems to be getting more traction. New York State is home to many local breweries.
According to the New York State Brewers Association, there are nearly 450 breweries in New York. Some of the best are right here in the Hudson Valley.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Hudson Valley area is short one. We lost a brewery in Sullivan County.

17 West Brewery in Liberty, New York announced that they were closing their doors permanently. The brewery had a 5 star review from almost 59 customer reviews on Google. It appears that people who tried or frequented the brewing company had great things to say about the spot. According to Google the business is currently closed.
The announcement was made on the breweries Facebook page.
The post was met with many shocked and disappointed fans of the brewery.
