New York D.A. Seeking Victims Of Serial Sex Offender

A District Attorney in New York is asking for victims of a serial sex offender to come forward. The serial flasher was arrested recently after several back-to-back incidents. Now authorities are looking for anyone else who may have been a victim of the man.

Paul Goodrell has been accused of lewd public behavior. Goodrell, who is 55 years old, is a convicted serial sex offender. He allegedly exposed himself to multiple children. The charges against him include multiple counts of public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, according to WHAM ABC 13. Goodrell was arrested three times in December for allegedly exposing himself around Canandaigua and Farmington, according to WHEC.

The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office is handling Goodrell’s latest charge – burglary as a sexually motivated felony. This arrest follows an incident at a Victor Walmart, a location from which Goodrell was previously banned. The authorities charged him with trespassing with the intent to commit a crime.

 

Goodrell is currently behind bars after being arrested and is being held without bail, according to FingerLakes1.com. He has a history of exposing himself in public places such as schools and stores. His victims have been as young as 7 years old. Goodrell has been arrested 9 times with a criminal history dating back to 1989.

The Ontario County District Attorney, James Ritts, is asking anyone who may have been a victim of Goodrell to contact his office. Goodrell is due in court tomorrow, Friday, February 9, 2024, to face a judge and potentially have his parole revoked.
