Hudson Valley Woman Arrested for Child Endangerment Following Police Chase
A Hudson Valley Woman was arrested for child endangerment after leading police in a high speed car chase.
New York State Police at Wurtsboro charged AnnMarie Webb, 32, of Bloomingburg, for endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing a police officer, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations.
Police say they spotted Webb using her cellphone while driving on Main Street in the Village of Bloomingburg. When they tried to pull her over, on Winterton Road, Webb allegedly sped up to over 80 miles per hours in a 40 MPH zone, in an attempt to evade police.
The chase continued through the Town of Mount Hope. Webb was eventually safely stopped on Bronner Road in the Town of Mamakating.
While she was pulled over police noticed Webb’s 3-year-old child and a family friend were both in the car during the chase.
