A Hudson Valley teenager plead guilty into the stabbing death of another local teenager.

In Westchester County Court, 17-year-old Berinzon Moronta of, Tarrytown, New York plead guilty today to 1st-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of 17-year-old Tahj Robinson.

According to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, on October 9, 2015, emergency responders found Robinson bleeding from various wounds and unresponsive on the ground inside Barnhart Park in Sleepy Hollow.

Robinson was soon pronounced dead.

An investigation revealed that Moronta along with several others entered the park with the purpose of finding and injuring Robinson.

Moronta approached Robinson stabbed him with a knife multiple times in the torso, heart, and lungs.

Moronta was remanded to Westchester County Jail. He faces 25 years to life in prison when sentenced on September 14.
