Facebook Leads To Ulster County Man’s Arrest For Alleged Dutchess Grand Larceny
Facebook is linked to an Ulster County man turning himself in for allegedly stealing a wallet from a Dutchess County gas station.
On Monday, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested 47-year-old John A. Fraioli of Saugerties for grand larceny, a felony.
Fraioli turned himself over to authorities after seeing his picture on the New York State Police Facebook page.
Fraioli and another man were wanted for questioning after a wallet was stolen from the Exxon Mobil, located at 1502 Route 55 in the Town of LaGrange, on June 19.
State Police thanked the people who called in tips to further their investigation. An investigation determined that the other man in the photos was not involved in the incident, police say
Fraioli was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the Town of LaGrange Court on July 18.
