The US Equestrian announced their roster of team athletes that will represent the United States this week in competition at Deeridge Farms in Wellington, Florida later this week at the  Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup USA and Palm Beach Masters Youth CSIO.  On the list are two young riders from the Hudson Valley. Madison Rauschenbach named to the U.S. Junior Jumping Team 1 and Sara Pezza named to the U.S. Children’s Team are both from Newburgh New York. They join team members from all over the United States for this week’s Palm Beach Masters Youth CSIO competition.

The Palm Beach Masters Youth CSIO competition is an annual part of the winter circuit in the United State. It runs simultaneously with the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup USA. The Palm Beach Masters Youth CSIO features international team competition for Young Riders, Juniors and Children. The U.S. will have two Young Rider teams this year in the FEI Young Rider Nation Cup, along with two Junior teams in the FEI Jumping Nations Cup. There is also one Children’s team in the FEI Jumping Children’s Nations Cup. These events will feature teams representing Canada, Denmark, Ireland, Mexico and individuals competing for Columbia. In 2019 the US teams swept the podium in all three youth divisions and hope to do the same this year.

The NetJets U.S. Jumping Team for the FEI Jumping Nations Cup for this week's completion is made up of 4 women and one man. Margie Engle, Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden, Brian Moggre and Jessica Springsteen daughter Bruce Springsteen.

Both girls and Jessica have competed here in the Hudson Valley at H.I.T.S. in Saugerties and at other local competitions. The Hudson Valley is rich with equestrian talent both in Hunter Jumpers, Dressage, Three Day Eventing, Hunter Pace, Barrel Racing, Indoor and Outdoor Polo and more.
