Don't get me wrong I am very pro Halloween. Bring it on the candy, the costumes and the gore but seriously it is almost like they are trying to be Christmas to the punch. Every year it seems the competition for Halloween gets tougher and tougher. Lately social media has been flood with events. Most of the pre-promote for Halloween I have seen is talking about events that will be happening in October but it does feel a bit like the "save the date" company should be getting commission.

Here is a list of a few of the things I have seen this past week on facebook.

Halloween Craft Fair and Flea Market on October 14th at Homewood Suites by Hilton at Newburgh - Stewart Airport

Witchingtonville on October 20th at L Vern Allen Park from 2p to 8p

Hudson Valley Boo Ball on October 27th at the Chance in Poughkeepsie

The New Paltz Halloween Parade on October 31st Main Street New Paltz.

Tickets are already on sale for The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze this one you should miss it's really cool.

And of course to keep up with everything Halloween in the Hudson Valley you can follow the Hudson Valley Halloween Page on Facebook.

As for TV there is 31 Nights of Halloween so they have your booked solid.

And in case you are wondering click here for how many days are left until Halloween.
