Poughkeepsie Wine & Spirit Store Temporarily Closed
My Wine and Spirits, located next to ShopRite at 1895 South Road/Route 9, sent an email to customers that had previously signed up for their loyalty club, and posted the same message on their facebook page, regarding some immediate changes:
To our loyal customers:
My Wine and Spirits is under new ownership. Unfortunately we will be closed during the transition while all the documentation is being completed including physical inventory, etc. We are very sorry for the inconvenience but rest assured that all gift cards are valid and you will not lose your points. We do not have a timeline as to when the store will re-open but we will update Facebook and send email alerts. Thank you for your business and we look forward to re-opening soon with those great prices, huge selection and the same amazing staff.
After reaching out for additional information from My Wine and Spirits staff, we were informed that everything posted on the facebook page and in the email is all the information that is available at this time.
My Wine and Spirits was constructed back in late 2018 when we found out that Shop Rite would be subleasing a portion of their store to the liquor store. Grocery stores are not permitted to sell hard liquor, only wine and beer.
We will provide more as it becomes available regarding a new opening date or any additional information, but in the meantime, you can follow their facebook page for updates.
