A massive drug bust results in the arrest of a Poughkeepsie man.

New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), in conjunction with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office conducted a narcotics investigation, which resulted in the arrest of Hughroy E. Thompson, 44, of Taylor Avenue, Poughkeepsie.

As a result of the investigation, police made a major drug seizure of approxiamtely 12 kilograms of cocaine, and 42 pounds of marijuana.

The estimated street value of the illegal drugs is over two million dollars.

Thompson was arrested and charged with Criminal Possessionof a Controlled Substance first-degree, a Class A-1 Felony, and Criminal Possession a Marijuana, a Class C Felony.

Thompson was arraigned in the Town of fishkill Justice Court, and remanded to Dutchess County Jail with no bail
